“Long neglect has worn away”

September 14, 2026Trio for flute, clarinet and bassoon, about 4:30. Written for the fall concert of NACUSA SF; it has passed through one anonymous round of review, and I’ll update this page if the performance is confirmed.
The title is inspired by Hopkins’ “As Kingfishers Catch Fire”, and Olson’s “The Kingfishers”, but the music doesn’t have a detailed connection to either.
